Sports Massage is beneficial for anyone who performs regular sport or physical activity whatever their age or level of fitness. Sports Massage is manipulation of the soft tissues, skin, muscle, tendons, ligaments and fascia. It can be performed before, during or after an event to enhance performance both physically and psychologically. A Class Above Sports Therapy offer clients a bespoke, ‘manual’, deep tissue massage using a variety of techniques carried out by fully qualified, experienced professionals. Our high quality Sports Massage is specifically designed to relieve muscle tension, remove waste products and alleviate DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness) following intense activity. Sports Massage can also assist in correction of musculoskeletal imbalances and help improve posture, alignment and flexibility. Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a lighter, superficial style of massage designed to improve circulation, increase mobility in joints and encourage greater relaxation for the client. This style of massage is preferable to clients who may be contra-indicated to sports / deep tissue massage. Swedish Massage is performed using light, brisk techniques with depth of pressure adjusted to suit client's needs.
