SPORTS THERAPY


Sports Therapy and Sports Massage is beneficial for anyone who performs regular sport or physical activity whatever their age or level of fitness. 

Sports Massage is manipulation of the soft tissues, skin, muscle, tendons, ligaments and fascia. It can be performed before, during or after an event to enhance performance both physically and psychologically. A Class Above Sports Therapy offer clients a bespoke, ‘manual’, deep tissue massage using a variety of techniques carried out by fully qualified, experienced professionals. 

Our high quality Sports Massage is specifically designed to relieve muscle tension, remove waste products and alleviate DOMS (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness) following intense activity. Sports Massage can also assist in correction of musculoskeletal imbalances and help improve posture, alignment and flexibility. Whether a competitive or recreational athlete, regular sports massage will compliment any training programme, allowing early detection of injury and reducing recovery times.
